When your own store starts to pay off

Selling through WhatsApp and Instagram works until the day you can no longer answer everyone.

  • You sell through social media and lose orders because you can't reply to everyone.
  • You're on a marketplace and the commission per sale eats the margin — and the customer is theirs, not yours.
  • You have a physical store and know some customers would buy from home if they could.
  • You've tried an off-the-shelf platform and got stuck on what it won't let you do.

What goes into the store

Six parts that make a store sell, not just exist.

Catalog and inventory

Product, variants (size, color), photos, price and stock, controlled by you in the admin panel. Sold out, and the product hides itself.

Checkout with card and local payment methods

Integrated with your payment provider. The customer pays without leaving the store, and the order changes status on its own when payment is confirmed.

Shipping and pickup

Rates by postal code, in-store pickup, and your own rules: free shipping above a threshold, same-day local delivery.

Dashboard from order to payment

You see every order, what state it's in and how much came in this month. The store we delivered has a financial view with revenue, expenses and margin per period.

Ready for Google and social media

Every product with its own page, title and description written to be found. Product links ready to paste into a story or a chat.

Yours, with no platform subscription

The code and the data belong to you. You pay hosting and the provider's fee per sale; you don't pay platform rent or marketplace commission.

A store we delivered, live

The screen at the top of this page is a real jewelry and accessories store we built: catalog with new-arrival and last-units badges, discounted prices and installments, a panel where the owners themselves add products, photos and stock, and a financial view with revenue, expenses and margin per period.

The result that matters: the team publishes products without depending on anyone, and the finances became visible without a manual spreadsheet.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an online store cost?
It's the largest of the website projects we build, because a store isn't a website with photos: it's a sales system, with catalog, inventory, checkout, payment methods and order tracking. The price depends on how many products and variants, which payment methods, and integrations with what you already use. You get a fixed price before we start; the logic is on the page about custom software cost.
Own store or marketplace?
Often both. The marketplace brings people who don't know you, and charges for it: commission, and the customer stays with them. Your own store is where you keep the full margin and the customer's data. Businesses that sell well tend to use the marketplace to be discovered and their own store for repeat purchases.
Isn't Shopify or another platform easier?
To start selling quickly with few products, it can be — and we say so when that's the case. The math changes when the subscription and fees start to weigh, when you need a rule the platform doesn't have (customer-specific pricing, bundles, your own shipping), or when you want the customer data for real. Your own store costs more to build and charges no rent.
What about taxes and invoicing?
The store calculates VAT or sales tax by product and destination and connects to the invoicing tool you already use, so every sale is invoiced correctly. We don't replace your accounting software: we connect the store to it.
How long does it take?
Six to ten weeks, depending on how many products and which payment methods. What delays most is product data: photos, descriptions, variants, prices. We agree on that at the start and, if needed, help you build the import sheet.
How secure are the payments?
Card data never touches your server: it goes straight to the payment provider, who holds the certification for it. The store only receives the confirmation. That's how the store we delivered works, and it's the only responsible way to do it.
