About us

Software written by people
who have run operations

Volvi is a software development company. What sets us apart isn't the programming language we use — it's that half of the team spent 25 years inside the industry the software has to serve.

Our origin

Two career paths that rarely meet

Volvi was born where software development met 25 years on the factory floor — maintenance and automation, production and process engineering, plant management and machine design.

It's a rarer combination than it sounds. Industrial software is usually written by people who have never set foot in a plant, and it shows on screen: dashboards full of metrics nobody uses, missing the one number that decides the shift.

In practice, it changes the first meeting. You don't spend time explaining changeovers, planned downtime or scrap — and we can tell you what isn't worth automating before you invest in it.

The team is based in Brazil and works remotely. Deliveries and follow-up work the same way whether you're across town or across the Atlantic.

Where we've delivered

Five sectors, the same engineering

Manufacturing is where our background gives us an edge. The other sectors are where the same engineering applies — and all of them are running in production.

  • 01

    Manufacturing

Machine monitoring, production tracking and preventive maintenance.

  • 02

    Logistics

Real-time fleet tracking, configurable alerts and reports.

  • 03

    Retail

Online store with integrated payments and a financial dashboard for the owners.

  • 04

    Financial services

Financial platform with multi-level commission automation and digital contracts.

  • 05

    Data & cloud

Data engineering and SQL optimization on Google Cloud for a large national retail chain.

How we work

Start small, and you decide the rest

Big projects signed off all at once are where software usually goes wrong: the scope gets decided before anyone knows enough. We prefer short phases with results in real use.

  1. 01

    Understand the process

Before proposing anything, we map how the work happens today, including what lives on paper or only in someone's head. This is where we find what isn't worth automating.

  2. 02

    Scope a first phase

We pick the piece that solves the most expensive problem and fits in a few weeks. Fixed price and timeline for that phase, not for an imagined full project.

  3. 03

    Put it into production

The system goes into real use. That's where the adjustments no meeting predicted show up — which is why the first phase is short on purpose.

  4. 04

    Grow with the business

With the first result in hand, you decide to continue, change priorities or stop. No long contract locking you in.
