Frequently asked questions

Is this a CMMS?
It does the same job, with a different model. Off-the-shelf CMMS usually charges per user and comes with mandatory fields that don't match your reality — so technicians type anything just to close the order. Here the data is your plant's, and the system is yours, with no licence fee per technician added.
Do I need sensors to get started?
No. Most of the gain comes before any sensor: a PPM plan that's actually followed, centralised history and cost per asset. Sensors come later, and only where downtime is expensive enough to justify them — usually a handful of machines, not all of them.
My technicians aren't computer people. Will it work?
It's the first thing we deal with. The technician's screen is built to be used with dirty hands on a phone: few fields, a list of causes they already know, a photo instead of a long note. If closing a work order is a chore, the system dies within two months — that matters more than any feature on the list.
Can I bring in the history I already have in spreadsheets?
Yes, and it's worth it. We import the asset list and whatever history exists, however messy — that's what makes the system useful from day one instead of starting empty and taking a year to build a memory. If parts and costs live in SAP Business One, Sage, Odoo or NetSuite, we connect to them.
How does a remote team work with a physical plant?
Development is remote — our team is based in Brazil and works remotely, available to plants in the UK, Ireland and the US. Maintenance management needs nothing on site beyond the technician's phone and a browser. Only when sensors come in does someone need to be on the shop floor to fit them — usually your own maintenance team, with us on a video call.
Do you understand maintenance, or just software?
Both — our team brings 25 years of manufacturing experience, including maintenance and automation and machine design. In practice that changes what the system asks for on screen: anyone who has filled in work orders on the shop floor knows which field is useful and which one only exists to get in the way of someone waiting with a machine down.
